Turismo sportivo in Sardegna, Abruzzo, Bretagna - Green Sports

During four days, from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th June, the Green Sports international Tourism Sport Network is going to be tested in a full rural, nature and open-air dimension.

Business tourists for the outdoor training, climbers and tour operators are going to live at the same time the “Nature means movement” experience.

The scenario of this first experimentation is the Ogliastra region (Sardinia, Italy). It is a territory that the sport tourists of all over Europe have begun to discover exploring caves, upping the rivers, climbing on perfectly equipped rocks.

Each group is going to be accommodate following its needs and located on paths conform to the personal expectations. The groups are going to meet themselves during the 4 days for convivial exchange of opinions and of course in an amusement atmosphere.

The participants are of different nationalities. They are Italian, English, German, Belgian. This proves the international dimension of the sport tourism in Ogliastra region.

The programme envisages:

- for the business tourists in outdoor training, trekking paths and caves visits, transferring by SUV and four-wheels-motorbike, climbing experience and training sections dedicated to improvement of managerial skills.

- for the climbers the possibility to climb some of the most beautiful and famous rocks of the territory starting from “Guglia Goloritzé” located in Baunei area and the “Tacchi” of Jerzu and Ulassai.

- for the tour operators a broad and cognitive visit of the territory laying over peculiar rural firms, walking on the Gennargentu mountain and doing rubber dinghy tours along the most striking coasts of the Ogliastra region such as the Baunei one.

The programme of the Green Sports network envisages 2 more experimentations. The first one will be in Autumn in the Vastese territory (Abruzzo, Italy), the second one will be in Spring (2008) in the Oust à Brocéliande territory (Britain, France).
