Turismo sportivo in Sardegna, Abruzzo, Bretagna - Green Sports

Thanks to Gal Abruzzo Italico Alto Sangro, Green Sports project participated in March at GLOBE 08, the trade show open to all opportunities of business in global tourism organised in Rome.

Being a combination of different territories, Green Sports project created a big curiosity among the buyers. A factor of success was represented by a focus in the tourism offer. SPORT is not only a simple activity which makes the travel experience more complete, but also, for many operators, the core activity to be proposed to the tourists. Moreover, the clients request specific sport activities and expect to buy a complete tourist package, including the transfer from the airport. In particular, a great development of cycling was registered. Activities such as paragliding and climbing were requested by some operators dealing with incentives
With 33 meetings scheduled and many more meetings on the field, Gal Abruzzo Italico Alto Sangro demonstrated to have a peculiar capacity in marketing. Gal Ogliastra participated at the trade show with a complete delegation including the person responsable for the Green Sport project, an incoming tour operator and a representative of the operators offering farm holidays. Gal Vastese Inn made different representatives of the territory visiting GLOBE 08 and explore the potential of the tourism packages hinged on paragliding activities.
