Gorropu Service has promoted sustainable tourism for years. In fact, we organise nature walks in small groups and therefore understand and recognise the merits which this can offer. Walking trips of varying levels of difficulty are organised in different parts of Sardinia, (e.g. Gorropu, Tiscali, Su Sercone, Nuraghi Mereu and Gorropu, P.ta Cusidore, Sos Nidos, Corrasi, Codula di Luna, Cala Luna, Sisine, Mariolu, Biriola, Goloritzè, P.ta Quau, Mte Arbu, Gennargentu, Mte Albo, Northern Sardinia, Bosa and Alghero). Trekking trips of varying length are organised, with bivouac tents and/or sleeping bags (crossing the Supramonte, Selvaggio Blù and Supramonte-Gennargentu). There is also canyoning, i.e. the descent of gorges and ravines, which are generally dry or have small lakes. To finish off we offer potholing activities throughout Supramonte, with groups accompanied into caves which are off the ordinary tourist itinerary. Just like real speleologists, we enter the caves equipped with helmets and carbide lamps and, in some cases, with the aid of dinghies, harnesses and safety ropes. Typical lunches are arranged with the shepherds of the Supramonte, as well as cookery courses, sport climbing and canoeing.
